This database contains a custom OPL routine. PsiDat security measures will prompt you to confirm that you wish to activate them on the target machine the first time it is opened - this is normal. The current record has a related link on the PocketInfo site and a menu option has been provided to allow it to be copied to the EPOC clipboard. This URL can be pasted in the address bar of Opera, Web, or (via PsiWin's CopyAnywhere facility) to Internet Explorer / Netscape on a PC, allowing you to quickly locate the exact page on PocketInfo and download the required file. The contents of the file will
probably only be updated a couple of times a year by the author, but you can update it yourself easily by following a simple procedure. Details follow. To update the PsiDat file from modified PocketInfo HTML pages:- 1. Create a directory C:\PocketInfo on a Psion or the WINS emulator and save the updated PocketInfo web page to it (you may need to change the extension from 'htm' to 'html' depending on the browser). 2. Open the PocketInfo database file in PsiDat 3. To update records, press Ctrl-O to switch to the PAGES table. 4. Locate the downloaded page and select the Parse option from the main menu. 5. Repeat step 4. for any other modifed pages.
The parsing will remove deleted records, modify edited ones, and add new ones. This is usually full-automatic but minor edits may be required occasionally (when this happens, add a note to the comments field as a reminder for future processing).
