This Paradox 4.5 form will export Paradox tables to tab-delimited text files allowing the user to omit fields if required. The field names are saved as the first line or as a separate 'Label' file as used by Psion's TEXT2DBF utility. The program can also use the TEXT2DBF program to automatically create Psion DBF data files that look good without the need to fiddle with the labels. The form will also export tables in Blackwell's "Idealist Natural" format if desired.

Memo, Formatted Memo, Graphic, OLE, and Binary fields are automatically omitted.

To use the form, create a subdirectory called 'EXPORT' in the appropriate database directory. Copy PSIONDBF.BAT and TEXT2DBF.EXE into this directory.
Copy the EXPORTS.FSL form and FIELDS.* files into the database directory and open it as usual.

1. Select a table and output format.
2. If required, flag fields you don't wish to include by deleting the 'Y' in the 'Use' column. Ignore the MEMO, FMTMEMO, GRAPHIC, OLEOBJ, & BINARY lines because these are omitted anyway.
3. Click on the 'Export' button.
4. All exported files are placed in the EXPORT directory.
